About: Fosaprepitant

Fosaprepitant belongs to the drug class of NK1 receptor antagonists. Fosaprepitant is used to block the NK1 receptor in the brain that triggers the desire to vomit. Fosaprepitant in combination with other antiemetics (5-HT3 receptor antagonists), work synergistically to suppress the worst measure of nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy. INDICATIONS
